Crews and equipment minutes away
Our office and equipment shop on North 10th Avenue are minutes from downtown and College Place, so your crew and the drying equipment start across town, not in another city.
Straight answers, even when you don’t need us
We tell you what the damage really needs, even when the repair is small enough that a claim may not be worth filing. We don’t push a job on every caller, and we work for you, not the insurance company.
Careful work in older homes
Paint in homes built before 1978 can contain lead, and Walla Walla has plenty of them. As an EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm, we follow lead-safe practices whenever we open walls and floors in older houses.

What We See Around Walla Walla
Walla Walla winters bring hard freezes, and a pipe that splits during a cold snap can flood a room before anyone notices. In summer, wildfire smoke drifting in from across Southeast Washington can leave odor and residue inside homes and businesses. And when winter windstorms roll through, falling trees and limbs can puncture a roof.
Our crews work across the whole city, from historic homes around Pioneer Park to businesses downtown and newer homes on the south side of town. We cover College Place too, including the older blocks around Walla Walla University and the newer subdivisions along Garrison Creek.

FAQs About Restoration Services in Walla Walla, WA
Does homeowners insurance cover flooding from Mill Creek?
Usually not. Washington’s insurance commissioner says standard home policies don’t cover flood damage, and a National Flood Insurance Program policy doesn’t take effect until 30 days after you buy it. Mill Creek’s flood channel protects about 8,000 buildings in Walla Walla, but it lowers the risk without removing it. If floodwater gets in, we document where it came from, because insurers treat creek water differently from a burst pipe.
Why does water seep into basements in Walla Walla?
About 85% of Walla Walla’s yearly rain and snow falls between October and May, so the soil around foundations can stay wet for months. Older foundations can let that water in through cracks in the walls and floor. We pump out standing water, dry the basement, and show you where the water is getting in.
Will my older home need an asbestos test before you remove damaged materials?
Often, yes. More than two-thirds of Walla Walla’s homes were built before 1980, and older flooring, ceiling texture, and pipe insulation can contain asbestos. Washington’s Department of Labor and Industries requires a good-faith inspection by an accredited inspector before work that could disturb those materials. We schedule the test early so it doesn’t hold up drying or repairs.
Can you restore a historic building in downtown Walla Walla after a fire?
Yes. Downtown Walla Walla’s historic district has about 100 buildings, many from the late 1800s and early 1900s. Fire hoses and sprinklers leave water behind too, so we dry the building while we clean the soot. If the building is on the City’s historic register, emergency repairs can start right away, but major alterations need the City’s approval.
Can you save water-damaged plaster walls in an older home?
Often, yes, if the plaster is still firmly attached to the lath. About a quarter of Walla Walla’s homes were built before 1940, when plaster was the standard wall finish. We dry the wall before anyone patches it, because repairs made over wet plaster fail. If a section has come loose or crumbled, we remove only that part.
Is a sewer backup in my basement covered by insurance?
Only if you’ve added sewer backup coverage. A standard Washington home policy doesn’t include it, but insurers sell it as an optional add-on. It’s worth checking your policy before a backup happens.
